Danvers Continues Fine form

Natasha Danvers continued her fine recent form with her best ever performance on the grand prix circuit by taking second place in the Rome Golden Gala in another significant personal best of 54.02.

Although the race was won by Commonwealth champion Jana Pitman in a year leading 53.62, Danvers defeated some her major rivals for a world championship medal , leaving US Champion Sandra Glover and European champion Ionela Tirlea trailing in her wake.

Having ironed out some technical difficulties in her victory in Zagreb, Danvers demonstrated her growing confidence in finishing on sixteen strides to hurdles 9 and 10 with another strong finish and will be aiming to figure strongly in the Paris world championships on the back of this excellent form.
