Devers and Johnson Show Their Class at Milrose

The usual suspects showed their perennial class with Gail Devers and Allen Johnson pushing their world leading times out to 0.17 and 0.12 respectively in taking the prestigious Milrose Games 60m hurdles titles in New York.

Devers clocked 7.76, just 2/100ths outside her own US Indoor record in comfortably defeating world outdoor champion Canadian Pedita Felicien [7.94], whilst Johnson was similarly impressive in recording the first sub 7.50 time of the year - his 7.43 comfortably leaving emerging French talent Ladji Dacoure [7.55] in his wake.

This leaves the great American duo well placed to retain their World Indoor titles that they took in Birmingham last year, with this years championships in Budapest now less than a month away.
