Robinson Goes to 3rd on u18 UK All Time List

Nicola Robinson starred in the first UKHC race promotion of the 2003 outdoor season - a special race set up under the IAAF's u18 Youth specifications, in the Loughborough University open meeting. The Nuneaton athlete sped to 13.67 over the 76cm barriers to go to third on the British all time lists behind Theresa Croshire's 13.55 and Ann Girvan's 13.66, but infront of Sally Gunnell's 13.72 time.

Robinson who won last years's ESSA 80m hurdles title was comfortably within the UK recomendation standard of 13.90 for the World Youth Championships to be held in Sherbrooke Canda later in the summer and looks set for successful transition to the longer distance, having also recorded a 13.9 manual clocking over the u20/senior specification barriers.
