UKHC Races Promotions - Watford 9th July

Despite the electronic timing unexpectedly not being in operation, there were some fine performances in the UKHC races staged at Watford on July 9th.

The 2002 British number five 400m hurdler Steve Surety was close to his season's best with a 51.9 victory, although a stumble off the last hurdle allowed TVH's Eddie Betts to close the margin of victory down to half a second.

The women's 400H was won comfortably by Hannah Stares who was just outside the 60 second barrier with a 60.4 clocking, to won from Louise Aylwin and Maiteland Marks.

Damien Greaves won a closely fought contest in the 110H winning from his training partner Rich Alleyene 14.0 to 14.1.

Also from Lloyd Cowan's group, Sarah Claxton took the women's sprint hurdles race in 13.9 from Jeni Malloy.
