Xiaoxiao Third on All Time u20 List

Huang Xiaoxiao one of China most promising talents who briefly held the Women's World Junior record in 2001 improved her own hold on 3rd spot on the u20 all time list when she recorded 55.10 to take the 5th City of China Games in Changsha.

Having earlier this month won the Asian Games 400H title in Manila and also finished second at the World Universiade back in August, Xiaoxiao completed an impressive double also taking the 400m flat in 51.93. Having been 'only' 16 when she had set her previous best of 55.15, Xiaoxiao has in fact been one of China's most notable young athletes since the age of 13 when she ran 53.61 for the one lap sprint and will undoubtedly be looking to impress by the 2008 Olympics to be held in Beijing.

As it her new personal best takes her to equal 14th in the World for 2003 and on such form she could certainly be in contention for a final spot in Athens next year.
